พล็อตเรื่องแรงดี

Dancer Daniel (Tom Long),leaves rehearsal to buy his girlfriend Bridget (Anna Torv) cigarettes, and he's abducted from a Melbourne laneway. He's drugged, and wakes in a warehouse on the wharves, his wrists and ankles shackled to the floor. Three women in hoods and gowns appear. Over 12 days, they systematically rape and torture him; he's forced to piss himself and threaten to break his ankle when he fights back. When he asks why they're doing this to him one of the women says chillingly "because youre beautiful".

There's a vengefulness there which echoes the sick idea that women are supposedly "asking" to be raped because they dress provocatively. Daniel's beauty makes him deserve to be violated, only this time it's by women; the ones society tells us are hard-wired for empathy. But these three are not -they just want to hurt and possess him.

When they finally free him, dumping his sorry carcass in a railway yard, hes completely traumatised. He cant go back to his work as a dancer and his relationship with Bridget is finished.

He starts a nihilistic search for the women who raped him, sleeping with what seems like half the women in Melbourne on the way. He tries to tell the police, but they laugh at him. So gradually he becomes more and more traumatised, never really speaking about what happened, not even to his charismatic mentor Isabel (Greta Scacchi, who looks wonderfully unbotoxed and beautiful at the age of 46). Even though her partner Olsen (Colin Friels slightly annoyingly cast, again, as a detective) works in the sexual crimes squad, Daniel's just not able to articulate what he's been through; he's broken from it.

แต่ก็ยังอยากดูเพราะมันมีฉากเต้นรำแบบ ไงดีอ่ะ อธิบายไม่ถูก ประมาณยิมนาสติกล่ะมั้ง แล้วคือเราชอบอะไรทำนองนั้นมั่กๆอ่ะ >.< ออกแนวคลั่งไคล้

อืม ควรจะไปซื้อมาดูดีมั้ยอ่ะ กลัวคนขายมองหน้าแบบ....นะ นั่นแหละ
